Hey there.
I'm so glad you're here.

I'm Emily.

I believe therapy is most effective when built on a solid foundation of trust and honesty between client and therapist. Together, we will create a place that is safe to share and process your story, be deeply vulnerable, build skills, and interrupt old patterns. I weave evidence-based practices with humor, care, and insight to help move you closer to living life as your most authentic self.

I am a white, cis, currently able-bodied, bisexual human who uses she/her pronouns. I love spending time outside in the PNW with my dog, partner, and friends, as well as adding more stamps to my passport whenever time and funds allow! My work is interwoven with a social justice perspective to allow us to unpack and explore how identity and privilege have intersected and influenced your life experiences, in addition to your relationships with others.

My past experience as a therapist includes a year-long internship with MEND Seattle and 3 years of working in DBT-based treatment program settings providing care to folks struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and eating disorders. I have struggled with my own mental health challenges over the years and know firsthand how scary it can be to begin or continue your therapy journey. Supporting others as they navigate difficult waters is deeply fulfilling and a privilege I do not take lightly.
